New years eve had everything this night should have. To make it easier to read, I'll try to highlight the best events.
Onions and tears. 15 persons were invited to the dinner at my friends flat in Stockholm. Everyone was divided into teams that should be responsible for a course, me and 2 friends had starters. We chopped 16 onions in order to make that onion soup, that wasn't too spectacular in the end anyways. I'm usually quite a good cook, but this is not one I'll put in my CV. I spent the whole dinner making fun of that soup, the others looked a little frightened but survived.
Songs and missions. Secret missions were handed out to each and every one. Mine was to eat from my neighbour's plate. Another friend had to hold a speach everytime the person sitting opposite her laughed. That girl was the most giggly one in the place and 15 speaches later we considered the mission completed.
Also, this was a lively dinner with loads of singing and standing on the chairs. No, we're not grown-ups yet.
Gin & tonic slush, the drink of the night. When cooking, my friend made us gin & tonic. Only when the second drink was made, there was only frozen tonic. Being stubborn, she poured the drinks anyways, which turned out to be more of a G&T- Slush. We brought the mix in a big thermos to the dinner and drank it through the lid of the thermos. Very fancy.
Snowrolling. At 12, the whole crowed went outside to a park to watch the fireworks and toast in Champagne. One of my friend asks me if I want to play with the plastic sledge. Of course! Running up the hill, I see no sledge. No, we were supposed to use our jackets. This only resulting in me rolling down the hill, with the entire snow supply of Sweden up my dress.
Blood, sweat and tears. Like all long crazy nights, there has to be some chaos. There was the mandatory couples' fights (also including some blood). Followed by the 2 persons passing out in the sofa. Not to mention the two new lovers making out on the floor (never seen that one before). As I said, there was a little bit of everything.
1 year of memories erased. 300 photos of this fall, along with movies from Edinburgh and Boston that were on my camera somehow got erased. I'm not happy! Some non-technical idiot messed up. I've also considered stop blogging, however, I got so many memories here that I don't remember otherwise. Time will tell what happens to the Post Babson Experience.
