Bday weekend

My bday weekend in my new city was amaaazing. Some friends from Stockholm came down to Göteborg and we went shopping and had dinner at home, making our own pizzas! Since the power points are located as they are in the flat, there was both cooking, and styling in the kitchen!

After dinner, my roomate's friends came over, we had some more wine and then headed out to a club. They started singing happy bday to me when we were in the queue, which seemed to work, since the bouncer waved at us to come up to the VIP line, we must have skipped like 4 people that way :P I had one rule for the night, yes night. Meaning we had to do everything that people told us, and yes it was ok to make life hard for each other as well. Ended up in some hilarious situations. Otherwise we pretty much danced to awesome music (including low of course) for like 4 h strait, until our legs cramped. Don't know if this is pathetic or funny, but I had been texting with some guys about meeting up during the night. So at 4am, we considered going to an afterparty, but ended up going home sleeping instead! I'm indeed old now!

Morning after we made some brunch at home, said bye to the girls and we just slooowly walked through the city, shopping some more. It was my bday after all. My roomate wanted to make me happy all the time but I was just so pleased walking around. A friend came over for dinner, pretty much ate our whole stock of food and we just chilled and had a great bday night. That, including all the lovely wishes, and special thanks to Ania (who called at 2am), Ali (who popped in my every corner of the Internet) and Flo who called today. Of course, all my love to all the rest of you, I'm the happiest 23year old - so happy to have you all!

I was not too excited about it being Monday and back to school today. But it's been a productive day, got some school stuff done, adminstrative junk, bagel lunch, sunshine, shopping and other good stuff. So, it's not too bad after all.
