I do love nerds

My sis got home from the states a few days ago. So when I came home this weekend I got a little present from her. Not sure how to take it... my friends were more concerned than me :-p

"I love nerds"

This weekend I spent at home in Stockholm. Since it's the final race next week maybe it wasn't the smartest move, however there were too many things I had to fix here. I've got some things sorted, celebrated mini-xmas with some of my relatives and finally went to a housewarming party of a friend. Nive weekend I must say =) Now I've got tons of things to read on the bus back... noooo problem.

Today's both the 3rd of advent, that I've told you about before. But it's also Lucia. Lucia's a Swedish tradition 11 days before Xmas eve. She's an Italian saint that we celebrate. It's usually a thing to do at school. Kids get up really early, there is a line of people singing Xmas songs and the Lucia herself comes with candles in her hair (to light up the darkness). People behind her, the followers have candels in their hands. Then they sing traditional songs about her. Sounds strange? It's hard to explain! See if the video makes more sense to you. I think it's such a cozy tradition, really sets the Xmas mood. However, they do this to the Nobel price winners who are here, wake them up with this. Some thought they've died and come to heaven when a blond candellight girl stands in their doorway... this year they're warn before...
