Visiting my fav. Germans!

Finally home again after days on the road. Have loads to tell you but I'll try to highlight the interesting parts without boring you. The trip started in Bonn with Elena (Boston).

Museum do's and don'ts. Don't go to the Beethoven museum in Bonn. An old house with a few glass boxes containing some old papers that he wrote. If you were lucky, there was a portrait of a random person or a violine. Besides, there was no music playing! In the Beethoven house! They sure missed one important part!
Do visit the museum of history tho. Great but also hard to watch sometimes. Also the interactive media museum in Karlsruhe with things to play with- loads of fun!

Amsterdam. City of legal weed, porn and bikes! Never seen a "parking house" for bikes before! Great city and cool shopping for the fashionable, shoe loving people.
Clubbing at a car dump. One of the most "cool" clubs in Cologne is an old card dump that has been remade to a club where the all the junk is "art". Everything's outside, the music was great electro/house and the people great. Awesome!

Alternative ways of traveling. There is a webpage, where people can find others to travel by car together for those going from and to the same city. I was going from Elena in Bonn to Ania (Edinburgh) in Karlsruhe. Ania arranged this for me, asked the guy (the driver) in German if he spoke English. Mm, well.. so and so. Also asked if he spoke Spanish and got a mumbling reply sounding like a yes. So she tells me she thinks he's Russian but speaks Spanish so we could communicate. When I meet the guy I get drowned by a waterfall of Spanish words. He was Chilean!! Gee thanks. So when I'm in the car talking to him, one of the other 2 girls says she lived in Panama for a while. She and I ended up talking for 30 min in Spanish. I had only slept 2 h and was so tired and said I had to sleep after a while. The 3rd only spoke Germany so one would be "excluded" all the time, I was happy to be that one.

Offenburg and Strassburg. Elena picks me and Ania up and we continue to Offenburg where we meet Sili (also Edi). After pubing there, the day after we went to Strassburg (France) for some sightseeing. Only 20 min away, but so different, so pretty and so French.

Have to love Sili. She's trying to rescue my bracelet that fell into the canal. When she's crawling on the ground, a sightseeing boat full of photographing tourists are passing by- capturing the moment.

More Babsonians. All of us also made a little stop over in St Gallen (Switzerland). Arriving late, having dinner, Tom (Boston) joins us for some food and wine. Also honored us with his presence over breakfast the day after. So nice to see him! Lovely to have Nespresso together again!

As you might guess this has been an unforgetable trip with loads of fun and great experiences. Can't thank my hostesses enough! Back in Sweden I was back on the road the day after I arrived for work with the PR tour I'm working with this summer. I'm a love messenger and look absolutely crazy, the whole thing is very creative. My colleagues are great, and we have fun - this is the event industry!

I'm home for a week, then my tour continues south again!
