My new home

Edinburgh is starting to feel more and more like my home now. I'm not as lost I was in the beginning, my flat is feeling like a home and the people I've met are lovely. Most of them are French and Germans, with exceptions for a few Scandinavians. I know there are many Americans, but so far I haven't met that many.

Thought you might be interested in seeing my room and my flat, so here are some pics. None of the other 2 girls rooms, their rooms are big and gorgeous, but I dont mind my small one, it's def. enough for me!

With a view over the meadows

I've been told there's a lof of snow in Boston. It varies from day to day but we had quite a lot of snow here as well. Which I've been told, is not common. So at midnight on sunday, the meadows were crowded with people, building snowmen and having snowfights (hopefully not freezing their toes off, like some mexicans might... =) ).

Outside my window, sunday night.

Ok, back to my room.

As you can see, I have a big bed so you all have a place to stay in Edinburgh anytime!

The hallway

Kitchen, finally I can cook again- but more importantly, we have a Wii

I have got some Scottish culture this weekend as well. I mean, the pubs and clubs are a big part of it but I did explore the city with some people and our "private guide" (a full year student) and we saw the castle, old town and other gorgeous sites. Also, I had to see the rugby game Scotland vs. Wales. First I thought rugby is just a pile of men trying to crush eachother, but then it became quite interesting. The most common strategy I figured out quite quickly, if everything else failes, just run into anything or anyone headfirst! Belive it's called the bull technique...
