Yesterday my family woke me up with their lovely singing (I better be nice, they might find this blog) and friends and relatives came by during the afternoon. After that I went in to Stockholm where me and another friend had some friends over for drinks before we went to dinner. What we didn't know was that this restaurant didn't have a license to serve alcohol! Very interesting and surprising, but we still enjoyed the dinner (and water for a change) and went back to the flat for more drinks. Used my Harvard mixology skills to make French 75s... (they were better at Sel de la terre tho...)
It wasn't a Pietz party, but a nice evening, which suited me perfectly. It's always good to try something new, usually I have a bunch of friends over at my house, I cook, we drink and then go out clubing. But this was nice for a change, does that mean I'm getting old?
Started thinking and realized a few things I didn't know 1 year ago...
1. That Lundgren could transform into London Green
2. Speeding tickets can be "estimated" and don't need to be based on any evidence.
3. A school can have a strict alcohol policy but still provide free beer gardens.
4. I'd be riding a police car twice a week.
Finally... that I would love so many people from so many parts of the world.
Thanks everyone for remembering me!
